The Bothwell Parent Organization (BPO) would like to welcome all new and returning families to Bothwell Middle School.  As the busy school year begins we would like to take a moment to tell you about the BPO.

The BPO is an organization that is run by volunteers.  Members include parents, teachers and administration.  We invite all parents in the school community to be a part of the BPO.

The main objective of the Bothwell Parent Organization is to support and finance things that benefit the students and teachers at Bothwell Middle School.  Some of the events the BPO funds include; classroom parties, family fun nights, activity day lunch, 7th grade Bay Cliff Science Camp, bussing for field trips, 8th grade breakfast, National Junior Honor Society, Homework Club, assemblies, classroom supplies and many more.

In order for these events to be successful, we need your help!  There are three ways to get involved:

Fundraising:  Please consider participating in any of our upcoming fundraisers during the school year.  Every little bit helps and 100% of all money raised goes directly back to our school.

Volunteering:  We could not run all of our events successfully without the help of our fantastic volunteers.  Any amount of time you can give is greatly appreciated.

Attend Meetings:  We welcome new ideas and suggestions and encourage you to attend our monthly meetings.  Attending meetings is one of the best ways to stay informed, meet new people and get involved with your child’s education.

Our goals this year are to facilitate good communication between the school and home; to promote academic success by supporting the students, teachers and parents; and to increase membership and fundraising.

We encourage all parents to stay informed and remain involved through the middle school years.  Remember it is your support that helps make our programs possible.
